About the band
Musical Shape Shifters
The musicians in the LOCAL HERO'S have been playing separately for years. Good fortune and fate has brought these musicians together in Raleigh, NC. As North Carolina came out of COVID 19, these musicians bonded over their shared passions for sound, rhythm, and beats. Each member brings a unique musical aesthetic to the band and the band as a whole brings a melodic sound that inspires an enthusiastic crowd response.
Born from Open Mic
We all just knew, it was time to play again. Open Mic appearances provided an opportunity for the band members to meet and form a bond around the music.
We had all reached the point we wanted to get back out and play live music. For too long, we have been hunkered down, waiting out the pandemic. Now - it is time to play again.
Looking to the Future
We did our shed work and we are ready to play.
We have started playing around the Raleigh, NC area.
Our set list will feature classic rock songs from several decades. Check out our 'Upcoming Shows' page for when we’ll be playing near you.
